Shildon Rail Trail Heritage Walks | S&DR200 Fringe
Hour long family walk and adult walks leaving from Hackworth Park, Shildon.
Linking in with the upcoming celebrations of the S&DR200 anniversary, there will be a couple of heritage walks round Shildon providing information regarding the railway and history of town. Hosted by a member from the Community Wellbeing Team and the Cultural Projects Manager at Durham County Council, these two new walks will utilise the new Shildon Rail Trail route.
Family Walk - Saturday 20th September 10.00 -11.00
Adult Walk - Thursday 25th September 10.00 - 11.30
Both walks will leave from outside the Restroom in Hackworth Park, Shildon
Refreshments will be provided after each session.
