Life in Stockton's Railway Cottages
A talk given as part of the Railway Cottages exhibition at Stockton Library.
Stockton Reference Library | Friday 26 September, 10.30am - 12pm | Free, booking essential
This presentation by Donna Hetherington showcases some of the everyday lives of people who resided in Stockton's 'Railway Cottages' and worked for the Railway. Through family history research we find where people originated from, what their occupations were, if they raised families here, or moved on. It is a story about migration, working class lives and industrial development in the area.
Please register for the event by visiting the Stockton Libraries website.
