An exhibition showcasing historic fashion, toys and artworks that reflect on how the railway reshaped lives and culture. Highlights include the worldʼs first toy train set owned by 'Father of the Railwayʼ Edward Pease (b. 1767 - d. 1858), garments worn at key moments in the regionʼs railway history and artworks that capture its journey through the picturesque landscapes of Teesdale.
