Memory of a Journey
13 September - 12 October at Preston Park Museum & Grounds. This project is a participation project that encourages visitors to reminisce about a journey that they remember.
Throughout 2025 community groups, school pupils, care home residents and visitors to S&DR200 festival venues across Tees Valley and County Durham have been
involved in a mass participation art project decorating peg dolls, representing their favourite train journey. Thousands of the designs will be showcased in a unique exhibition which will open at Preston Park Museum on Saturday, 13 September and run until the 12 October 2025.
The Memory of a Journey display will be open to view 13 September - 12 October at Preston Park Museum & Grounds.
